Debate Craze at ELC

Today at ELC, we were doing a debate on human and animal rights & OMG, it was soooo funny.
the class was seperated into 6 groups. I was in with Dominic and Eugene .What really suprised me was that they were actually REALLY GREAT debaters. i was like o.O when i heard them arguing with the opposition , which was erich, nick and HM (Hui Mei). It was hilarious. I only spoke like 2 times only cuz i'm such a lousy debater.

Here were HM's opinions on the 2 boys& me:
Dom- the one with the thought-provoking stands.... makes you think VERY HARD
Eugene- very fast with comebacks, leaves opposition no time to think
me- LOUSY ... just 2 lousy sentences

Another thing was they said it was GOD's will for animals to exist, then eugene or Dom (forgot who) says :" it isn't SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN." ROLF... the reaction of the class was hilarious. it was sooo funny. Then, the lousy debater (me, of course) used the bible in our defence against their statement. HM then uses that SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN thingy and says the bible isn't SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN (sounds familiar, eh?) stupid me. ... Damm, i feel so guilty after that . I, being a christian , said GOD wasn't SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN. i hope the lord fogives me.

Later that day, debate craze continues... HM has fallen in love with the debates and went crazy!!!! Her craziest debate topic yet was " Hot 'n' Cold by katy perry is NOT a lesbian song" Claudwie then says it is. The 2 spent ages arguing. you can imagine how that went, rite? 2 very Stubborn people who wud not budge.

Well, that's all for now. there will be a debate next week, i really look forward to it especially to the " Battle of the MELs" .......MELissa group vs MELanie group . Melissa is very " teng" and a great debater , Melanie is also terrific at "talking". it's bound to be interesting.... XD
